Allow what the phone needs
LogiShell asks only for what a feature uses, and every permission is optional. After you sign in, a short screen lists them. You can come back to it any time from Profile, Permissions.
| Permission | What it is for | If it is off |
|---|---|---|
| Notifications | Wakes the phone when an agent waits for you, a run ends or a reminder is due | Reminders do not ring and requests appear only when you open the app |
| Microphone | Voice notes, talking to LOG, speaking on calls | Voice does not record, typing still works |
| Camera | Photos of handwritten pages, video notes, your video on calls | Camera capture is off, picking existing photos still works |
| Photos | Choosing photos and videos for notes | Nothing to allow: the system picker gives LogiShell only what you pick |
| Local network (iPhone) | Talks to your computer directly over home Wi-Fi | Everything works through the relay, a little slower |
After you said no
iPhone never asks twice, and Android stops asking after a second refusal. So the screen shows Open Settings instead of Allow, and takes you to the LogiShell page:
- iPhone: Settings, LogiShell, then the permission.
- Android: Settings, Apps, LogiShell, Permissions, then the permission.
Come back to the app and the screen checks again by itself. When a feature stops because of a permission (a voice note, the camera in a note), the app says which one, what it costs, and has the same button next to it.
Looking at another computer from the phone
Your phone shows a computer through the same page as the desktop. If that computer lacks a system permission (on a Mac, Screen Recording), the tab says so and offers Ask to allow. Only someone at that computer can turn the switch on; the request makes LogiShell there open its permissions guide.
